18.7., 16:00 – 21:00

Duration: 5 Hours

Before language, before law, before love, there is the body.
Families claim it. Nations regulate it. Religions sanctify it. Markets commodify it. Desire longs for it.
but… what is the gun that returns your body to you?

Dante Buu (b. Rožaje, Montenegro) is a performance artist. His work is structured by principles of autonomy, non-comparison, and refusal of enforced silence, articulated through intimacy, freedom, and disobedience. His practice consists of durational performance and hand-embroidery that extend the body beyond its limits, translating lived and inherited histories into embodied and material forms. Moving between states of exposure and containment, his works take shape in repetition, bodily thresholds, and shifts in relation to space and presence. They situate the artist and the public within spaces where experience becomes physically undeniable.
Dante Buu lives and works between Rožaje and Berlin.
