In the exhibition Free Update, the KINDL – Centre for Contemporary Art is presenting important works from recent years by the Norwegian artist Bjørn Melhus (*1966, lives in Berlin), including the 20-minute video work Sugar, a large, new production which is presented for the first time at the KINDL.

In this framework, an artist’s conversation will take place on 16 January 2020 at the Maschinenhaus M0 of the KINDL. The artistic director Andreas Fiedler will speak with Bjørn Melhus about the exhibition as well as about fundamental issues relating to his video installations.

On this evening, the exhibitions at the KINDL are open until 7 pm.

Following the conversation with the artist, it is possible to round out the evening in the Caé Babette.

The conversation will take place in German.
