Simon Faithfull
Earth-ling
M1 VideoSpace
The solo exhibition Earth-ling by Simon Faithfull (*1966 in Ipsden, UK, lives in Berlin) brings together videos, photographic works, and sculptures where a figure (or body) encounters the living fabric of this planet. In addition to the presentation in the M1 VideoSpace, the sculpture Biotope no.1: Bienenstock (2026) is on view on the exterior facade of the KINDL. The half-length portrait of the artist, made from 3D-printed cornstarch, serves as a home for a colony of bees that enter and exit through the figure’s mouth and nostrils.
