Oral is Moral is the open rehearsal of a striptease in which Ania Nowak peels away the layers of contemporary anti-system right-wing rhetoric, set to the sound of Pia Achternkamp's harp. Using the often paradoxical and inflammatory statements of European far-right politicians, across media appearances, party conventions and parliamentary speeches the performance unfolds as a love letter to a nation yearning for attention, affection and tough love of its leader. Exploring languages of radicalism, manipulation and parody, the performance looks into the far right’s attraction for aggression, cruelty, and violence.
