News about the Refurbishment

Since November 2014, architects Dr. Krekeler & Partner have been responsible for the reconstruction of KINDL. The overall plan and concept for the project were provided by grisard'architektur, Zurich. An inventory of work completed to date has shown that refurbishing and extending these listed buildings will be far more demanding than originally thought.

On October 22, 2016, the KINDL – Centre for Contemporary Art will open the entire former brewery building with exhibitions spanning three floors in the Power House as well as the cafe in the Brew House. Now, after extensive renovations, regular exhibitions can begin throughout the building.
